Industrial Safety Basics
Our 10-hour General Industry Safety and Health Program provides entry-level workers with foundational safety information to protect them against primary hazards in factory, warehouse, and general industrial environments. It covers key safety procedures under OSHA CFR 1910 standards.
Core Objectives
Upon completing this program, students will know how to:
- Recognize hazardous situations related to walking-working surfaces and exits
- Utilize Lockout/Tagout procedures to control hazardous energy
- Read and interpret Safety Data Sheets (SDS) and chemical labels
- Select and inspect appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE)
