Course Description
Confined spaces present dangerous conditions, including toxic gases, oxygen deficiency, and entrapment risks. This course covers the criteria for permit-required confined spaces, how to conduct atmospheric testing, control hazards, define roles for entry teams, and implement safe rescue operations.
Learning Objectives
Upon completing this course, you will be able to:
- Differentiate between non-permit and permit-required confined spaces
- Conduct correct atmospheric testing (oxygen, flammability, toxicity)
- Detail the roles of Entrant, Attendant, and Entry Supervisor
- Develop and verify Confined Space Entry Permits
- Outline non-entry and entry-based rescue coordination plans
Course Outline
Module 1: Confined Space Definition and Classification Standards
Module 2: Atmospheric Hazards and Environmental Testing Protocols
Module 3: Ventilation Controls and Entry Permits
Module 4: Entry Roles and Emergency Response Systems
